More than a quarter of PPE kits from China come back in India
As of April 5, nearly 1.70 lakh PPE kits had been supplied to China from India, of which 50,000 kits failed in the quality test. “Two small consignments of 30,000 and 10,000 PPE kits failed to pass the test as well,” the source said. Expected to get new suits from April 18
The government is expecting a delivery from April 18. Sources said, ‘We should have these suits by the first week of May. Meanwhile, more orders will be placed.
