DU Admissions 2020: Application for admission in DU starts, cutoff date will be decided after CBSE Result
DU Admissions 2020 all information-> The University of Delhi started the online application process for admission in graduation at 5 pm on Saturday. Dean Admission Prof. Shobha Bagai in DU said that this application process will run till June 4. Whether or not to increase it will be determined later. DU has started the graduation process for about 70 thousand seats this year. It may be noted that after the UGC directive, the seats in DU are increasing by 15 percent more than last year. DU has clarified that the students will have to read the information bulletin very carefully while applying for admission. Only then students apply. Like every year, this time also the student will not have to choose the course and college at the time of application.
Separate form will have to be filled for entrance test based course
It has been clarified in the DU press conference that the students who want to apply for the entrance test based course will have to apply separately on this portal. DU entrance examination based admission test will be in 20 major cities of the capital. This examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency.

Video will have to be uploaded in music course
Prof. Shobha Bagai told that for admission in Music Honors in DU, students have to upload their singing or playing 5 to 7 minutes on YouTube. It will then be evaluated.
Trial will not be conducted in ECA-Sports admission
Only applications for NCC and NSS will be accepted in ECA. Whereas in sports, all categories of students will be admitted on the basis of certificate. He made it clear that it is also not the case that only the sports students get admission in the super numerical maximum 5 percent seats.
The cutoff date will be determined after the result of CBSE
DU has started the online application process to apply for graduation, but has not yet set the cutoff date in its bulletin. Prof. Shobha Bagai told that DU is awaiting the result of CBSE exam, hence the cutoff date has not been announced. It will also be announced after the results.

DU has not yet released any number as a helpdesk for UG admission. But there is talk of releasing number 6 soon. DU can mail on its website undergraduate2020@admissions.du.ac.in. In addition, every college will set up a helpdesk and issue a helpline number. So that the student can easily reach his problem to the college and solve his problem.
Application fee-
Normal and OBC application fee for merit based course in graduation – Rs 250
Application fee for merit based course in SC, ST, PWD and EWS-100
For sports or ECA admission, an additional fee of 100 rupees will have to be paid from the normal fees.
750 for general and OBC class for application in entrance test based course
300 for SC, ST, PWD and EWS classes for application in entrance test based course
One thousand fee will have to be given for cancellation of admission
DU has said that in its information bulletin, a fee of one thousand rupees has been paid to the student who has been admitted. If a student gets canceled from one college and takes admission in another college, then he will be deducted one thousand rupees.
Two new courses will start in PG
DU is going to start two new courses at Masters level this year. The first course is of Master of Journalism while the second course is MSc in Bio-Physics.
DU wrote to give his link to the board
DU has written to all boards to give a link to their exam results. Earlier, DU used to get CBSE Class 12th result so that if the student has filled his roll number in the online form then his marks will be uploaded automatically.

DU has clarified that colleges will not be able to hold any additional eligibility criteria. The colleges which used to give cut-off to 1 percent girls earlier, will still give it. Not only this, in the course of BA program, the marks which the student used to cut by 5 percent will not be deducted. However, the compulsory requirement for admission for various subjects would remain. For example, Mathematics is necessary for a student enrolled in BCom Honors. Other such rules will remain. So before applying, students must check the information bulletin.
How to apply in DU
To apply in DU, first of all the student has to go to DU website and open this link https://ug.du.ac.in/.
After that the student will have to register himself with his correct mailID. Mail ID will be the user ID of the student.
After that the information on the certificates required for the application will come on the website. This application is in eight stages.
In which the complete information of the student and the information of his family, including mail, phone number and citizenship, other information including marksheet, certificate, has been sought.
