Uttar Pradesh: All cardholders will get ration from June
All ration cardholders will get ration from June. No cardholder will be disappointed during the normal distribution of ration. The department has made a new arrangement after the news was prominently published in ‘Hindustan’ on Thursday titled ‘Cardholders exceeded, ration reduced.’
Due to Corona, more than 56 thousand new ration cards have been issued in Lucknow since the last week of March. While the ration was allocated on 27 March based on the number of cards. This is the reason that all the Kotedars ended their rations until the 5th of this month.
The distribution will be done on 9,10 and 11 June.
Taking cognizance of the published news, the DM posed this problem to the supply department. DSO Sunil Kumar Singh explains that there will be normal ration distribution from June 1 to June 5, Kotdars will get additional ration by making invoices relative to new cardholders from June 5 to 8. The distribution will be done on 9,10 and 11 June. The Additional Food Commissioner has issued an order in this regard.
Under the PM scheme from Friday, 5 kg of rice per person and one kg of whole gram dal per family card will be given free of cost on the basis of the members registered in the ration card.
