Close ties with Russia travel ->Russian Ambassador to India Nikolai Kudashev said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Russia on September 4-5 would usher in a new chapter in the already close ties between the two countries. Kudashev said that the two sides will hold extensive discussions about enhancing cooperation in many areas including defense, trade, civil nuclear sector, energy, hydrocarbons.

Kudankulam is working to finalize a general agreement to build six more nuclear reactors in India under the project.

Babuskin said that during Modi’s visit, a number of agreements will be signed to enhance cooperation between the two countries in key areas. Kudashev and Babu Skin addressed the press conference ahead of Modi’s forthcoming visit to Russia. Prime Minister Modi will also participate in the meeting of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
