Delhi University: Delhi University (DU) said in its notice that new dates regarding the exam will be announced soon.

Earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had postponed the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET 2020) due to coronavirus. The application process for DUET 2020 was to start from April 2, which was later postponed. The new dates will be given later after taking stock of the conditions.

In the postgraduate courses of Delhi University, except for professional courses, 50% of the students in all the departments are admitted on the basis of merit list and the remaining 50%, students are selected on the basis of rank in DUET.

At the same time, for admission in undergraduate courses, 2 hours of time is given in the entrance test, in which questions of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) are asked. This paper consists of 100 questions. 4 numbers are found for every correct answer and 1 number is deducted for every wrong answer. In postgraduate courses, entrance tests are done according to different courses.

Significantly, the Delhi University is closed till April 14 in view of the nationwide lockdown imposed to prevent the spread of deadly coronavirus infection. The time period can also be extended in view of the situation.
