CBSE consider canceling remaining examinations, give Marks on internal assessment: Supreme Court
Supreme Court: give Marks on internal assessment-> The Supreme Court has asked the Central Board of Secondary Education to consider the matter of cancellation of the remaining board examinations. Along with this, the court has said that the board should think about awarding marks to students on the basis of internal evaluation. The three-judge bench has asked the CBSE to reply by next Tuesday. CBSE has also said that it will give its guidelines in view of the situation. Now the matter will be heard on 23 June.

The court was hearing the plea of Amit Bathla, a guardian of the CBSE student. The petition sought cancellation of the CBSE board examinations given the current situation. Let us tell you that the remaining CBSE board examinations are to be held between July 1 and July 15. CBSE is currently taking exams for 29 main subjects of class 12. At the same time, North East Delhi will have the 10th examinations canceled due to riots. CBSE examinations are to be held in 15,000 exam centers across the country.

The petition also states that CBSE examinations are to be held in July and according to AIIMS the Kovid-19 pandemic will be at peak at that time. Therefore, the petitioners have prayed that the remaining CBSE exams to be held in July be canceled and the results of students declared on the basis of internal assessment.
ICSE seeks option from student, to give paper or promotion on pre board number
ICSE has asked the board candidates whether they will appear in the board exam starting July 2 or want promotion on the basis of pre-board or internal assessment. They have to fill their option in the prescribed proforma and send it to the school by 18 June. Messages and proforma are being sent to the children’s WhatsApp. Let us tell you that the parents of the states have appealed not to take the exam in view of the corona infection. Public interest litigation is also filed in the High Court in this regard. On this, the board has given this option to the students. Now, if students want, instead of appearing in the examination, they can promote on the basis of pre board.
